CLIENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION – INFORMATION AND CONSENT

Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they apply to the provision of my professional services. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you are unable or unwilling to agree to these terms, please do not book an appointment or continue with the therapy.

CONFIDENTIALITY

All contact (including sessions, phone conversations, online video calls, and emails) is confidential and may be recorded. The content of these communications may only be recorded or used with the client’s prior written permission. Notes, audio, or video recordings made during consultations are also treated confidentially, except in the following circumstances:

  1. If you grant permission for confidentiality to be waived.

  2. If required by a court order (subpoena).

  3. If confidentiality cannot be maintained, for example:

    • There is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

    • In the event of fraud or criminal activity.

    • If minors (under 18) are involved.

  4. If a report is requested by your GP or other health professional (a copy of the report is available upon request).

FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION

I offer an optional free 20-minute online consultation. No therapy is provided during this consultation.

The purpose of the initial consultation is to assess your needs and confirm the suitability of RTT. During these calls, I provide an estimate of the number of sessions required to address your presenting issue, based on the information provided at that time. These estimates are approximate guidelines and are subject to change.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

In-Person Sessions: A non-refundable deposit of 5,000 Ft is payable when booking your first in-person session. The deposit forms part of the service fee and will be deducted from the final invoice. The remaining balance of the fee is due at least 48 hours prior to the first session. No refund will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session time.

Online Sessions: A deposit is not required for online sessions; however, the fee for online sessions must be paid at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. If payment is not received 24 hours before the session, the session will be cancelled, and the time slot may be offered to another client. It is your responsibility to ensure the session fee is paid before each scheduled appointment to confirm your time slot.

CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, AND REFUND

Cancellation and Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please notify me as soon as possible. Notification must be given via email or phone:

  • For in-person sessions, at least 48 hours before the appointment.

  • For online sessions, at least 24 hours before the appointment.

Refunds

  • No refund will be given for cancellations made within 48 hours (in-person) or 24 hours (online) of the scheduled time.

  • Session fees cover my time and professional expertise and are not a guarantee of a successful outcome. Therefore, no refund can be given for sessions you have attended and paid for.

  • If you have paid for a discounted package or therapy program in advance and decide to discontinue the therapeutic process before utilizing all sessions, you will receive a proportional refund. This refund will be calculated by deducting the full (non-discounted) standard fee of the sessions already taken from the total amount paid.

PRICING

All professional fees will be communicated to you before booking. My professional fees are subject to review and may increase from time to time. You will receive confirmation of the current valid fees before every booking.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment can be made online by bank card, via the Revolut application, or through PayPal™. For in-person sessions, payment can be made at the end of the session by bank card, Revolut, or cash. I am unable to accept checks without prior arrangement.

COMMUNICATION BETWEEN SESSIONS

Any contact between sessions (phone, email) takes place exclusively during working hours: weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (CET). Messages received outside this period will be addressed during the next working hours.

MEDICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL CONDITIONS

A prerequisite for commencing a session is that the client provides truthful and complete information regarding their current health and psychological state, especially regarding any potential exclusionary factors. Should the client fail to do so, they bear sole responsibility for any consequences arising during or after the treatment. I may inquire about your medical history to determine any contraindications for the treatment. This also helps assess whether your health condition influences or affects the therapeutic goals you wish to achieve. Please inform me of any health changes during therapy or upon returning after an extended absence.

If you are undergoing medical, health, or therapeutic treatment (e.g., GP, psychologist, psychiatrist, or counsellor), I may ask you to seek your attending practitioner's permission before commencing RTT sessions.

Certain conditions – such as epilepsy, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or any psychotic state – are considered exclusionary factors for treatment. In such cases, the hypnosis session may only proceed if the client presents written medical certification from their attending doctor or specialist that the treatment is permitted and supported. This is intended to protect the client, comply with relevant legal regulations, and fulfil the practitioner's professional and indemnity insurance obligations.

AGE LIMITS

You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in online sessions. Clients under 18 years of age are accepted in person, accompanied by a parent or guardian.

SESSION ATTENDANCE

Please ensure you are available at the scheduled session start time. If you are running late, please notify me as soon as possible. While I will try to accommodate the full session, this cannot be guaranteed as it depends on subsequent bookings.

THE HYPNOSIS SESSION PROCESS

RTT treatment can be delivered in person or online; the effectiveness is equivalent in both cases, so the choice depends on the client’s convenience. During the process, the client enters a deeply relaxed state, where we collaboratively look back at the origin of the issue and use various techniques to resolve the underlying causes. This work takes place at the subconscious level, which governs much of our life choices and behaviour, often without conscious intervention.

It is important to understand that RTT treatment is not medical care and is not a substitute for traditional medical examination or therapy. Always seek the opinion of your doctor or specialist for health issues.

SESSION OUTCOME (RESULTS)

Working together on the issues you present does not guarantee a solution to the problem. No specific result can be guaranteed. The client acknowledges that change – whether mental or physical – largely depends on their own active participation, commitment, openness, and perseverance. Nevertheless, I will always strive to assist you in achieving your goals to the best of my knowledge and professional expertise.

HYPNOTHERAPY AUDIO RECORDINGS

Hypnotherapy audio recordings must not be listened to while driving, operating machinery, or engaging in any activity that requires concentration. The provided audio recordings are for personal use only and must not be shared, lent, copied, or sold under any circumstances.

BEHAVIOURAL EXPECTATIONS

During therapy sessions, I will treat you with respect and will not abuse the trust placed in me. I will always follow the best professional practice for our mutual benefit. In return, you agree not to cause harm to yourself, other persons (including me), or any property.

You agree not to attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs (excluding prescription medication). If you appear under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or exhibit violent/abusive behaviour, the session will be terminated, and I may refuse further sessions without refunding the fee already paid.

LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

The client acknowledges that consultations and treatments are not a substitute for medical or psychological diagnosis or therapy and are not to be considered conventional healthcare. The methods applied during the service are self-exploratory and supportive, aiming to deepen the client's internal processes and promote personal development. Participation in the process is voluntary, and the client participates with full responsibility, based on their own discretion and decision.

By utilizing the service, the client agrees that Krisztina Gyüre cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage, loss, inconvenience, loss of profit, or other economic, mental, or physical consequences that arise as a result of or in connection with the treatments – even if they are linked to advice or suggestions given during the consultation.

Should any misunderstanding, inconvenience, or claim by a third party arise on the client's part during or as a result of the service, the client undertakes to indemnify Krisztina Gyüre and any potential partners against all such legal or financial claims. This indemnity includes covering any potential legal representation, attorney fees, or other related costs.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms and any matters arising from them are governed by the laws of Hungary. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hungarian courts to settle any dispute arising out of these terms.

CHANGES AND DATA PROTECTION

These terms may be subject to change without prior notice. Your personal data is collected, processed, and stored in accordance with the Privacy Policy: https://krisztinagyure.com/privacy-policy. By booking an appointment, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
